Arts & Crafts x Amsterdam Brewery: Special Beer Collaboration For Field Trip Festival

A&C is proud to team up with Toronto's independently owned and operated Amsterdam Brewery in support of our 10th Anniversary celebration Field Trip Music & Arts Festival. The inaugural one-day event will take place June 8 at Fort York & Garrison Common and features the one-night-only return from hiatus for Broken Social Scene as well as Feist, Bloc Party, Stars, Hayden, and many more. To commemorate this milestone, Amsterdam Brewery will create a special beer for Field Trip, enlisting A&C co-owners Jeffrey Remedios and Kieran Roy for the one-time brew that will only be available in 473ml cans and only for Field Trip.

Feist To Headline Free Show For Montreal Jazz Festival Grand Opening

Building on a tradition that has seen musical luminaries such as Stevie Wonder, Rufus Wainwright and Pat Metheny kick off the noteworthy annual event, Feist will take the stage at Place des Festivals on June 28 to commence the 34th edition of the Montreal Jazz Festival. As part of our ongoing 10th anniversary celebrations, we're proud to partner with Toronto-based celebrity and fashion photographer Norman Wong on an exhibit chronicling label artists over the past 10 years. The original black-and-white portrait series features iconic favourite and never-before-seen shots of artists such as Kevin Drew, Leslie Feist, Dan Mangan and numerous other A&C talents, as well as a special archival collection of personal, candid shots taken by Wong during A&C tours, concerts and photography sessions. Jason Collett To Make Theatrical Debut In Toronto Production Of Patti Smith's 'Cowboy Mouth'

Written by Sam Shepard and Patti Smith, the 1971 play Cowboy Mouth tells the tale of Slim, a cat who looks like a coyote, who is kidnapped by Cavale, a chick who looks like a crow. She dreams of making him a "rock-and-roll Jesus with a cowboy mouth." In the first production, Cavale was played by Patti Smith, Shepard's then-lover, while Shepard himself took the role of Slim, the only time he played one of his own characters. Jason Collett will make his theatrical debut playing the title role of Slim. Performances commence on January 30 at The Cameron House in Toronto.
