Timber Timbre Announces Special Three Run Night At Lee's Palace - 16/09/14

Timber Timbre announces a run of three shows at Lee's Palace in December, bringing its Polaris Music Prize Short List nominated Hot Dreams up close and personal to the iconic Toronto venue. The band's triumphant return to the city follows its masterful sold-out performance at Massey Hall in May, and will be an intimate bookmark on a whirlwind year of touring North America and Europe. The endlessly lauded Hot Dreams, called "seductive, inviting, and deeply creepy" by NPR, continues to earn rave reviews from The Guardian, Billboard, TIME, Nylon, Esquire, and many more, while Timber Timbre has only strengthened its reputation for captivating live performances. The four-piece's razor sharp renditions of new favourites like "Curtains?!" and "Grand Canyon" have imbued the languid Hot Dreams with a taut and propulsive personality all its own. The Lee's Palace shows will each be punctuated by a different supporting artist specially chosen by Timber Timbre for the occasion, including singer-songwriter Sean Nicholas Savage, Fiver, led by frequent Timber Timbre collaborator Simone Schmidt, and Last Ex, the new instrumental project of Timber Timbre's own Simon Trottier and Olivier Fairfield, whose debut album arrives on Constellation Records in October.

A very limited amount of advance tickets for the December shows will be made exclusively available for pre-sale via GalleryAC.com at 10AM on Wednesday, September 17. Fans will be able to buy discounted CD, LP, and Digital Downloads of Hot Dreams with ticket purchases from GalleryAC.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, September 19, and can be purchased online through Collective Concerts, and in person at Rotate This and Soundscapes.
